Licensing

Licensing

Jurnal Kesehatan (JUKE) publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) , subject to any clearly identified exclusions for third-party materials.

1. Permitted Use

Users may copy, share, redistribute, translate, adapt, and build upon licensed articles for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that the license conditions are followed. Permitted uses include educational activities and text and data mining.

No additional permission from the journal is required for uses already authorised under CC BY 4.0.

2. Attribution and Conditions

Users must:

  • Give appropriate credit to the author(s) and provide the article citation.
  • Include a link to the CC BY 4.0 license.
  • Indicate whether modifications have been made.
  • Avoid implying endorsement by the authors, journal, or publisher.
  • Not impose additional restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

3. Scope and Continuity

Third-party materials may be subject to separate copyright or licensing terms, as indicated in the relevant credit lines. CC BY 4.0 does not automatically grant rights beyond its scope, including certain privacy, trademark, or patent rights.

Correction, retraction, or removal of an article from the journal website does not automatically revoke a valid license previously granted. Users must continue to comply with the applicable license conditions.

Licensing information should be displayed on the journal website and article files. Any previously assigned article-specific license must be represented accurately; updating the website does not automatically change the license of previously published articles.
